Terms of Use

Effective May 15, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Uaqyt. By creating an account, using the app or website, accepting an invite, or purchasing Jamaah, you agree to these Terms.

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Uaqyt ("Uaqyt", "we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree, do not use Uaqyt. You may use Uaqyt only where it is lawful for you to do so, and only if you are old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your country.

What Uaqyt is

Uaqyt is a prayer tracking and reminder app that lets you mark prayers complete, receive reminders, calculate prayer times, add friends, share prayer status with friends you accept, and optionally purchase Jamaah premium access. Uaqyt is a software tool. It does not replace religious guidance, local mosque announcements, scholars, or personal judgment.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account, device, email, and login codes secure. Do not share login codes, do not use another person's account, and provide accurate information when signing in. We may suspend or terminate accounts used for abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.

Sharing with friends and acceptable use

Only add people you know and trust. Prayer sharing is meant for private, respectful encouragement. Do not shame, harass, pressure, or surveil another person's worship. You also agree not to: - violate the law or the rights of others; - harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other users; - upload malware, spam, or deceptive content; - attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization; - reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with Uaqyt; - bypass premium checks, purchase verification, or security and privacy controls; - use Uaqyt to build a competing service or train models without our written permission. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for behavior that harms users or breaks these rules.

Free plan and Jamaah premium

Uaqyt offers a free plan and a paid premium tier called Jamaah, which unlocks additional features. The specific limits and features in each tier may change as the app evolves. Jamaah is currently sold as a one-time purchase processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another payment provider. Prices, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks are handled by the store under its own rules. Except where required by law or by store policy, one-time purchases are non-refundable once Jamaah access has been provided. If a refund or chargeback occurs, we may remove Jamaah access. Use the restore-purchases flow in the app if you need to recover a previous purchase. Restores depend on the same store account used for the original purchase. See our Refund Policy for details on when refunds may apply.

Third-party services and app stores

Uaqyt relies on third-party services such as Apple, Google, payment and entitlement providers, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, and hosting. Their own terms apply to your use of their services. If you downloaded Uaqyt from the Apple App Store, Apple is not responsible for Uaqyt or its content, maintenance, support, or claims, except as required by law. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as related to their platform.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data. By using Uaqyt, you acknowledge that personal data will be processed as described there.

Intellectual property

Uaqyt, including the app, website, designs, software, logos, and related materials, is owned by Uaqyt or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Uaqyt for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from Uaqyt except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

Disclaimers, changes, and termination

Uaqyt is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Prayer times, reminders, and other features depend on your device, location, network, and third-party services — please verify with your local mosque or a trusted authority when accuracy matters. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. You may stop using Uaqyt at any time and may request account deletion in the app settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to Uaqyt is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Uaqyt during the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.

Governing law, updates, and contact

Unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Almaty, Kazakhstan. We may update these Terms as the app evolves. If changes are material, we will give notice in the app or on the website before they take effect. Continued use of Uaqyt after updated Terms become effective means you accept them. Questions: [email protected] Privacy requests: [email protected]
